To support the ACP Caribbean negotiation team for the foundation and Caribbean protocol towards the finalisation of a new Partnership Agreement between the EU and the countries of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States., we have received a new request for services from the Lot 4, EU Framework Contract for a category II expert for the mission “Support the ACP Caribbean negotiation team” in Brussels.
The Category II expert should have the following profile and expertise:
- Education: Master in law (with a specialisation in International Law or International Trade Law), Development or Economics, Trade Policy or a closely related field;
- Experience: At least 6-year experience in the field of economic development or in international relations;
- Proven in-depth knowledge of the relations between the EU and ACP countries, as well as of the Cotonou Agreement;
- Relevant experience of Caribbean States political, trade and development-related affairs;
- Experience in at least one negotiation between states;
- Experience working in CARIFORUM States or in an inter-governmental organisation in the CARIFORUM Region would be an asset
