Cadena has been shortlisted for the AfDB "TVET Mapping Study to Enhance Skills Linkage to the Productive Sectors in Africa" project, therefore we are looking for the following experts:
- An economist (at least Masters level) with at least 15 years of experience in Development Planning or Education Planning and background in TVET related fields, excellent analytical skills, experience with the private sector, perfect knowledge of English and/or French. Experience in higher education (teaching and research) will be an added advantage.
- Labor market specialist with experience in TVET and skills development, and in linkages with productive sectors. He/she must have at least a masters in social sciences, economics or statistics, minimum of 15 years in the analysis of labor markets in relation to national development strategies with implications for skills development, experience with the private sector, excellent analytical skills, perfect knowledge of English and/or French.
- Two (2) education/TVET specialists (policy and/or instruction/learning), with at least 15 years of experience in policy formulation, teaching or management of TVET systems and institutions at national or regional level. They must have an excellent knowledge of TVET systems in Africa and a perfect knowledge of English and/or French.
- Good knowledge and experience of working across the continent is also a requirement.

For the final evaluation of the UNESCO " Phase II of the Strengthening Pre-Service Teacher Education in Myanmar (STEM)" project, Cadena is looking for an Education sector expert.
The minimum requirements for the Education Sector Expert are the following:
- University degrees in specialized fields of social sciences, humanities, public policy, or related fields;
- Proficiency in English language (written and spoken);
- At least one team member with a minimum of 3 years of experience in applying qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods, including excellent data analysis skills;
- At least one team member with a minimum of 3 years of experience in gender equality and social inclusion programming, particularly in the area of social development;
- At least one team member with a minimum of 5 years of experience in support of education in developing countries;
- At least one team member with excellent knowledge (written and spoken) of Myanmar language, with preference for multiple team members with excellent knowledge of Myanmar language.
It is desirable to also have the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years combined experience with the education sector in Myanmar;
- At least one team member with a minimum of 3 years developing multimedia presentations;

It is mandatory for the Team Leader to have the following qualifications:

Cadena idp is an international consulting firm based in Tholen, the Netherlands. The company is specialized in conducting consultancy and training projects for international donors such as the United Nations, World Bank, African Development Bank, and the European Union. In addition, assignments are carried out for the Dutch government under various grant programs.
Our projects focus on improving education (from primary to vocational education) and the school to work transition for young people in developing countries. Currently, we are conducting several projects in Kenya, Malawi, Liberia, Ethiopia, Lesotho and Zimbabwe.

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager, who is interested in the development aid business, in the work of international donors, and would like to operate within an international network, while contributing to our acquisition and project management activities.
The tasks within Cadena are very diverse and can range from providing support for the preparation and submission of international tenders (technical and financial proposals), finding suitable experts for various projects, and supporting our experts in the field. In addition, there are also various marketing activities such as identifying new markets (countries, clients and themes) identification of new international partners and alliances, but also taking care of mailings, updating the website, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook accounts, and/ or creating promotional materials (such as brochures, flyers and banners).

- At least a taught Master’s degree in International Development, Monitoring & Evaluation, Public Health or a similar relevant area; in its absence, the expert should have a Bachelor's degree plus at least 36 months experience in International Development, Monitoring & Evaluation, Public Health or a similar relevant area (in addition to the general monitoring and evaluation experience indicated in the first bullet under "professional experience").
