Since June 2024, our consortium works closely with the EU Delegation in Jordan to promote better knowledge of EU culture, languages and the EU in general through various cultural events and public outreach and networking initiatives. Our consortium ensures the communication and visibility actions for these cultural initiatives. Moreover, the project supports the local cultural scene through partnerships with local well-established organizations and strives to create synergies with Jordanian stakeholders. The project is expected to end in May 2027.
Cadena has won another assignment in Jordan, adjacent to the above project, namely the design and implementation of the Petra National Trust (PNT) Heritage Award (2025 and 2026 editions). In the field of cultural diplomacy, the EU Delegation, in partnership with the PNT – implemented for the first time in 2024 – the PNT Heritage Award serves to recognise and promote best practices in cultural heritage preservation. The award, designed to celebrate individuals and organisations committed to preserving tangible, intangible, and digital heritage, has become a vital initiative in Jordan. The 2025 and 2026 editions of the PNT Heritage Award – which are the subject of this contract – will focus on fostering innovation in heritage conservation, promoting sustainability, and engaging communities. The award will support projects that align with EU and PNT’s goals for heritage conservation and climate action.
