From April 2025 to December 2025, Cadena is contracted by UNESCO to support the capacity development component of the UNESCO-China Funds in-Trust Phase III (CFIT III) by equipping higher education institutions (HEIs) with the necessary tools, expertise, and strategies to implement sustainable educational reforms by:
- strengthening the capacity of HEIs to systematically develop curricula that respond to the current and future demands on skills of the labour market.
- supporting HEIs in developing, refining, and/or scaling up student employability services to enhance career readiness and development through the establishment of career hubs.
The contractor’s tasks will focus on the development and delivery the capacity building programmes at 12 HEIs in Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda; Côte d’Ivoire, Gabon, and Senegal.
