Looking for a category II expert for the mission “Support the ACP Caribbean negotiation team” in Brussels

To support the ACP Caribbean negotiation team for the foundation and Caribbean protocol towards the finalisation of a new Partnership Agreement between the EU and the countries of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States., we have received a new request for services from the Lot 4, EU Framework Contract for a category II expert for the mission “Support the ACP Caribbean negotiation team” in Brussels.

The Category II expert  should have the following profile and expertise:

• Education: Master in law (with a specialisation in International Law or International Trade Law), Development or Economics, Trade Policy or a closely related field;
• Experience: At least 6-year experience in the field of economic development or in international relations;
• Proven in-depth knowledge of the relations between the EU and ACP countries, as well as of the Cotonou Agreement;
• Relevant experience of Caribbean States political, trade and development-related affairs;
• Experience in at least one negotiation between states;
• Experience working in CARIFORUM States or in an inter-governmental organisation in the CARIFORUM Region would be an asset
